Connect the two harness connectors (F) (Fig. 4) to the cluster.

Move the cluster and speedometer cable forward and position the cluster in the instrument panel. Then install the cluster attaching screws.

Install the cigarette lighter (C) and switch housings (D) and (E) in the instrument panel (Fig. 3).

Install the instrument panel bezel (B). Align the bezel on the panel and snap it into place. Then install the bezel attaching screws (A) (Fig. 2).
6.
Working from under the instrument panel, connect the upper half of the speedometer cable to the speed switch.
7.
Connect the battery negative cable.
SPEEDOMETER CABLE REPLACEMENT
A one-piece speedometer cable is used on models without Cruise Control. The instrument cluster must be removed in order to disconnect the one-piece
cable from the speedometer. Refer to the appropriate instrument cluster removal/installation procedure in this I.S. Note.
A two-piece cable is used on models with Cruise Control. The lower cable can be replaced without having to remove the instrument cluster. However the
cluster must be removed to replace the upper cable. Refer to the appropriate cluster removal/installation procedure in this I.S. Note.
