Alarm Horn: Service and Repair
Vehicle Theft Security Siren - Removal

SIREN

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the horn(s) and mounting bracket from the outboard side of the right front frame rail. See: Lighting and Horns/Horn/Service and

Repair/Horn - Removal.

4. Locate the alarm siren module (2) within the hollow on the back of the right end of the front frame crossmember (1) outboard of the right frame

rail.

5. Disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector from the connector receptacle near the top of the siren.
6. Remove the screw (3) that secures the siren mounting bracket (4) to the right end of the front crossmember.
7. Remove the siren and mounting bracket from the back of the crossmember as a unit.
