Commander 2WD V8-4.7L (2008)
1. Remove the third row seat assembly from the vehicle. See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Seat - Removal.
2. Place the third row seat assembly on a suitable work surface with the seats facing down. Be certain to take the proper precautions to prevent the
seats from receiving cosmetic damage during the following procedures.
3. From the underside of the third row seat support bracket (5), use a chisel or an appropriately sized drill to remove the metal grommet (1) that
secures the anchor plate (4) for the third row buckles (3) to the support bracket.
NOTE: The metal grommet is used as an assembly aid during the production process and does not require replacement following service
removal or replacement of the third row seat belt buckles.
4. Remove the third row buckles and anchor plate from the seat support bracket as a unit.
