5. Remove the coolant recovery bottle (1) See: Cooling System/Coolant Reservoir/Service and Repair/Coolant Recovery Bottle - Removal
CAUTION: Use caution when connecting, disconnecting or repositioning any wiring harness. Damage could occur to the wiring harness due to
vehicle millage, vehicle age and environmental conditions.
6. Disconnect and position the upper right side engine harness aside.
7. Disconnect and position the heater hoses from the heater core tubes aside.
8. Raise and support the vehicle.
9. Remove the lower splash shield retaining bolts (1) and the splash shield.
10. Remove the front propeller shaft (4 X 4 equipped vehicles) See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and
