Overhead Console - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the inside rearview mirror, See: Body and Frame/Mirrors/Service and Repair/Rear View Mirror - Removal/Inside Rear View Mirror.
3. Pull downward on the sides of the overhead console housing (3) firmly and evenly to disengage the snap clips from the overhead console bracket.
4. Lower the overhead console from the headliner far enough to access the wire harness connectors.
5. Disconnect the roof wire harness connectors from the Electronic Overhead Module (EOM) (3) and combination power sunroof/liftgate switch (2)
if equipped.
6. Remove the overhead console from the vehicle.
Overhead Console - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Position the overhead console near the mounting location on the headliner.
2. Feed the inside rearview mirror wire harness through the mounting hole (4).
