Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Front Door Window Regulator - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Load the window regulator (4) into the front door through the large access hole in the center of the door and connect the wire harness connector
(5) to the regulator motor.
2. Engage the three bolts (1) into the keyed holes (2) on the inside of the door.
3. Install the two bolts (3) that secure the bottom of the regulator rails to the door. Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.).
4. Tighten the bolts that secure the regulator rails (4) to the three keyed holes (2) on the inside of the door. Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.).
5. Carefully remove the tape securing the door glass (2) in its full up position, then lower the glass and engage it into the two window regulator glass

6. Temporarily install the window switch and raise the glass into the full up position.
7. Tighten the bolts in each of the window regulator glass clamps to 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.).
