Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair
Removal
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable from the battery post.
2. Remove the shifter housing center console. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Floor Console - Removal
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (3) at the dynamics sensor (1).
4. Remove the nuts (2) mounting the dynamics sensor to the floor pan tunnel (4).
5. Remove the dynamics sensor (1).
