Compass 2WD L4-2.4L (2008)
1. Align the base of the bulb with the park/turn signal lamp socket (1).
2. Push the bulb straight into the socket until the base is firmly seated.
3. Align the socket and bulb with the keyed opening on the back of the park/turn signal lamp housing (4).
4. Insert the socket and bulb into the housing until the socket is firmly seated.
5. Rotate the socket clockwise about 30 degrees to lock it into place.
6. Reconnect the engine compartment wire harness connector (2) to the bulb socket connector receptacle.
7. Position the front of the front wheel house splash shield (4) to the front fascia (2) closure panel and secure it with two push pin fasteners (3).
8. Install the push pin fastener (3) that secures the inboard side of the splash shield to the front end sheet metal.
9. Install and tighten the three screws (1) that secure the outboard side of the splash shield to the front fascia. Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (19 in.
lbs.).
10. Reinstall the front wheel and tire. See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Tires and Wheels -

11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
