Move the seat to the forward position.

From under the seat remove the bolts (2) and the straps (1).
4.
Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
5.
Is tape already present on the crosstube?
a.
Yes - Proceed to Step # 7.
b.
No - Proceed to Step # 6.
6.
Apply electrical tape per (Fig. 2). Wrap the tape around the crosstube, two wraps.
