Service Procedure
NOTE:
The StarSCAN tool software must be at version 7.04 or higher before this procedure can be performed.
A.
Program the TIPM
1.
Open the hood and remove the inlet air duct over the battery.
2.
Install a battery charger. Verify that the charging rate provides approximately 13.5 volts. Do not allow the charger to time out during the
reconfiguration process. Set the battery charger timer (if so equipped) to continuous charge.
