SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Clunk or knock when driving over bumpy roads. The noise sounds like an exhaust component contacting the frame or floor pan.
DIAGNOSIS:
Road test the vehicle, if the noise is present, fold the seat forward. If the noise is eliminated, perform the repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves replacing the rear seat latch mechanism.
1.
Using the procedures outlined in the appropriate service manual, remove the rear seat back.
2.
Remove the left and right latch mechanisms.
3.
Install the latch mechanisms listed above.
4.
Install the rear seat back.
