Tilt the top of the caliper outward (Figure 2). Use a pry tool if necessary.

Set the caliper aside (Figure 3). Secure the caliper to the suspension with a wire. Do not allow the brake hose to support the weight of the caliper.

Remove the retainers that secure the brake rotor to the hub studs (Figure 4).
7.
Remove and discard the brake rotor.
8.
Clean the rotor hub and brake pad mounting ledges with a wire brush.
9.
Remove the protective coating from the new rotor.
10.
Install a new rotor on the hub.
