THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A FEDERAL EMISSION SYSTEM.
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The Check Engine Lamp comes on with Diagnostic Trouble Code 32, EGR System Failure set.
DIAGNOSIS:
Using the Mopar Diagnostic System or the Scan Tool (DRB II) with appropriate diagnostic procedure manual, verify that all engine systems are
functioning as designed. If any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) are present, record them on the repair order for future reference, and repair as
necessary. If only code 32 is present all vehicle systems are functioning correctly and the vehicle is equipped with Powertrain Control Module (SBEC)
P/N 56027989 or 56027990, proceed with the following repair.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.
Using the procedures outlined in the Service Manual, replace the Powertrain Control Module with P/N 56028113.
2.
Complete the required information on the Authorized Modification Label and affix the label to the vehicle near the VECI Label.
