Wiper Switch: Testing and Inspection
Intermittant Wiper Switch Continuity Chart
1. Disarm airbag as outlined under "Airbag System Disarming."
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove tilt lever.
4. Remove both upper and lower steering column covers.
5. Remove screws holding steering column trim panel.
6. Remove knee blocker.
7. Remove steering column retaining nuts.
8. Lower steering column to access rear of multi-function switch.
9. Disconnect switch connector.
10.
Using an ohmmeter, test for continuity as shown.
11.
If continuity is not as specified, replace multi-function switch.
