The fuel rail supplies the necessary fuel to each individual fuel injector and is mounted to the intake manifold (Fig. 5). The fuel pressure regulator
is no longer mounted to the fuel rail. It is now located on the fuel tank mounted fuel pump module.
Certain engines are equipped with a fuel pressure test port. Not all engines are equipped with this test port.
NOTE: The fuel rail is not repairable.
