Oil Pan: Removal and Replacement
Engine Oil Pan - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove the radiator fan See: Cooling System/Radiator Cooling Fan/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Radiator Fan - Removal.
3. Remove the intake manifold See: Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Intake Manifold - Removal.
4. Install Special Tool #8534 Do not raise engine at this time.
5. Remove the structural cover See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Structural Dust Cover - Removal. using sequence shown.
