Headliner Odor

1993 - 1994 (ZJ) Grand Cherokee/Grand Wagoneer

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Headliner may exhibit an offensive smell often described as a "fish odor".

DIAGNOSIS:

Smell the headliner (rubbing or tapping the headliner may make the odor more pronounced). If the headliner exhibits the odor, perform the repair
procedure.

THE PARTS LISTED BELOW ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN ALL TRIM COLORS USED IN PRODUCTION IN THE 1993 MODEL YEAR.

This bulletin involves replacing the headliner with a revised part made from a different material.

Using the procedures outlined in the appropriate Service Manual, replace the headliner with the part selected from the Parts Required Section above.
