THIS BULLETIN EFFECTS VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH ABS BRAKES.

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Rough Engine Idle.

DIAGNOSIS:

Pinch off the vacuum line leading to the brake booster. If the idle becomes smooth, proceed with the repair procedure.

Brake Pedal Travel Sensor

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves replacing the brake pedal travel sensor.

1.

Using the procedures outlined in the 1994 Grand Cherokee Service Manual (Publication No. 81-370-4147), Page 5-27, replace the pedal travel
sensor making sure that the O-ring is in place as shown.

POLICY:
Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
