Oil Pressure Gauge: Testing and Inspection
1. Turn ignition switch to Run position. Disconnect oil pressure sender connector, needle should go to HIGH. If not proceed to next step.
2. Touch oil pressure sender connector to ground, needle should go to LOW.
3. If satisfactory replace sender. If not satisfactory check for an open to gauge instrument cluster connector terminal C9, and repair if necessary. If no
open was found, replace gauge.
