Impact Sensor: Service and Repair
FRONT IMPACT SENSOR REPLACE
1. Disarm air bag as outlined under Air Bag System Disarming and Arming.

2. Remove grille from grille opening reinforcement.
3. Remove turn signals, side markers and headlamps.
4. Remove front fascia retainers and front wheelwell retainers.
5. Slide fascia off lower crossmember side retainer pegs, using small screwdriver pull up on locating tangs under turn signal mounting location.
6. Remove fascia from lower crossmember.
7. Remove sensor mounting screws, then disconnect electrical connector and remove sensor.
8. Reverse procedure to install, ensuring arrow is pointed forward, and tighten screws to specifications.
