3. Remove the oxygen sensor from the exhaust pipe.
4. Heat the exhaust pipe and catalytic converter connection with a torch until the metal becomes cherry red. While the metal is still cherry red, twist
the catalytic converter back and forth to separate it from the exhaust pipe.
