Remove the fuel tank heat shield mounting bolts (Figure 8).

Disconnect the fuel return line from the fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator (Figure 9).
CAUTION:
Place a shop towel around the fuel line to catch any excess fuel.

Disconnect the fuel pressure line from the fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator (Figure 9).
24.
Disconnect the evaporative canister vent line near the front of the fuel tank (Figure 9).
25.
Disconnect the fuel pump module electrical connector near the front of the fuel tank (Figure 9).
