Loosen the top bolt and remove the lower bolt to the rear half of the window regulator. Move the rear half of the window regulator out of the way
in order to gain access the door handle latch rod and clip

Disconnect the latch rod from the back of the outside door handle (Fig. 1).
NOTE:
Lubricate only the plastic clip-to-counterweight connection. Do not lubricate the latch rod-to-plastic clip connection.

Apply Lubriplate grease to the latch rod plastic clip. The grease needs to be carefully applied where the plastic clip connects to the hole in the door
handle counterweight (Fig. 2).
9.
Rotate the plastic clip in the counterweight hole. This step is important to help distribute the Lubriplate.
10.
Add a second application of Lubriplate grease to the clip and its connecting counterweight hole.
11.
Rotate the plastic clip in the counterweight hole.
12.
Install the latch rod to the plastic clip. Verify that the latch rod is fully engaged to the clip.
13.
Verify repair.
