Grand Cherokee 2WD V8-5.7L VIN 2 (2005)
Remove the steering column shrouds (1 & 2).
5. Disconnect the two electrical connectors (3 & 4) to the SCM (2).
6. Remove the two screws (1) retaining the SCM (3) to the column shaft (2).
7. Pull the SCM (3) off the steering column shaft (2).
INSTALLATION
WARNING: If the clockspring, which is integral to the Steering Control Module (SCM) is not properly centered in relation to the steering
wheel, steering shaft and steering gear, it may be damaged. Service replacement clocksprings are shipped pre-centered and with a locking pin
