Vapor Canister Assembly
Due to the small number of involved vehicles expected to require canister assembly replacement, no parts will be distributed initially. Canister
assemblies should be ordered only after inspection determines that replacement is required. Very few vehicles are expected to require canister
assembly replacement.

Fuel Tank Package
Each package contains a fuel tank, a fuel pump module seal and ten plastic rivets.
Due to the small number of involved vehicles expected to require fuel tank replacement, no parts will be distributed initially. Fuel tank packages
should be ordered only after inspection determines that replacement is required.
Very few vehicles are expected to require fuel tank replacement.
Special Tool Requirement
Use of a special fuel filler probe is required to perform the service procedure. All Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge dealers will receive one (1) Fuel Filler Probe
(Miller Special Tool # 8983) in late-December 2001 free of charge. Additional fuel filler probes may be purchased from Miller Tool. Additional probes
are not reimbursable by DaimlerChrysler.
Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Claims for vehicles that have been serviced must be submitted on the DIAL System. Claims submitted will be used by DaimlerChrysler to record recall
service completions and provide dealer payments.
