Left Dash Panel - Transmission Module Retaining Bolt Holes, Main Harness Grommet and Hood Release Cable Grommet

1.

Locate the following areas in the engine compartment and apply Kent Clear Sealer around each one (Fig 3).

Transmission module retaining bolts

b.

Wiring harness grommet

C.

Hood release cable grommet

D.

Upper Left Cowl Side Seam Area

1.

Moving inside the vehicle, remove the electrical connector on the cowl side stud.

2.

Remove the plastic nut holding the dash panel insulation.

3.

Pull the insulation down off the plenum and dash panel to expose the side-to-dash panel area.

4.

Locate the upper left cowl seam (Fig. 4).
