Paint chipping at the upper corners of the D-pillar caused by contact with the plastic applique (See Figure 1).

Foam Strips
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves repairing refinishing the damaged area and installing a foam strip to the D pillar applique.
1.
Remove both the D-pillar appliques by carefully prying the appliques off with a flat bladed screw driver.
2.
Brush touch the damaged area as required and allow the paint to dry.
3.
Install the foam strips, P/N 4773279, as shown in Figure 2.
4.
Install the D-pillar appliques.
