REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves replacing the roof rack end caps and stanchions.
1.
Loosen the two front screws from each end of the side rails to allow easier removal of the end caps.
2.
Remove the front end caps from the side rails.
3.
Slide both cross rails forward and remove them from the side rails.
4.
Remove both pivot screws and remove the stanchions.
5.
Install four new stanchions, P/N 55076028 and 55076029.
6.
Check the screws holding pivot plugs and tighten if necessary.
NOTE:
