If there are no eccentric cams on either side, no further action is necessary. If the vehicle has eccentric cam adjusters at the arm-to-axle attachment,
the cam bolt, cam washer and nut must be replaced with a new bolt and nut (Figures 1 and 2).
CAUTION:
REPLACE ONE BOLT AND NUT ATTACHMENT AT A TIME.

Scribe a vertical line on the lower suspension arm in line with the rear edge of the axle bracket so that front end alignment can be set to the same
position (Figure 2).

Remove and discard the cam bolt, cam washer and nut from one side of the vehicle.

Install the provided bolt and nut. Align scribe mark (step 3) with the rear edge of the axle bracket and torque nut to 130 ft.lbs. (176 N-m). There is
no cam on the replacement bolt and no cam washer is to be reinstalled.
Note:
Make sure that the flange of the new bolt and nut is against the axle bracket surface and not on top of the horseshoe shaped bracket
reinforcement.

Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 on the other side lower suspension arm-to-front axle bracket attachment.
Future Front-End Alignment Service:
Caster is still adjustable on ZJ vehicles without eccentric cams at the front lower suspension arm-to-front axle bracket attachments. To do this, loosen the
arm-to-axle attachments, use a pry bar to move the axle to the proper setting, then tighten the attachment to 130 ft.lbs. (176 N-m).
Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Claims for vehicles which have been serviced must be submitted on the DIAL
System. Claims submitted will be used by Chrysler to record recall service completions and provide dealer payments.
