Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Discharge the A/C system into a recovery/recycle device.

3. Disconnect the quick-connect fitting at the condenser.
4. Remove the discharge line-to-compressor manifold bolt. Discard the 0-ring.

INSTALLATION

1. Using a new 0-ring, install the discharge lineto-compressor manifold bolt.
2. Connect the quick-connect fitting at the condenser.
3. Evacuate the A/C system.

4. Charge the A/C system.

5. Connect the negative cable to the battery.
