Stabilizer Bar Bushing Squeak
MODELS:

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Front suspension squeak when driving over uneven road surfaces.
DIAGNOSIS:
Jounce the front end of the vehicle and listen for the squeak. If the squeak is coming from the stabilizer bar bushings, perform the repair procedure

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves installing stabilizer bar bushings made from a revised material.
1.
Raise the vehicle on a hoist that supports the weight of the vehicle by the tires or axle.
2.
Remove the two bolts securing the stabilizer bar bushing bracket from one side of the sway bar.
3.
Remove the bushing and install P/N 52088094.
4.
Install the bolts and tighten to 54 N-m (40 ft.lbs.).
5.
Repeat steps 2 through 4 for the opposite side bushing.
