Rocker Arm Assembly: Service and Repair
Removal
REMOVAL
1. Remove the appropriate camshafts. See: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Camshaft - Removal.
2. Remove the rocker arm (1) and lifter (2) assembly.
NOTE: When the hydraulic lifters are removed from the engine, they must be stored upright and in clean conditions.
3. Separate the rocker arm from the lifter.
