Grand Cherokee 4WD V8-4.7L (2003)
INSTALLATION
1. Position the front seat belt buckle to the side of the floor panel transmission tunnel.
2. Install and tighten the screw that secures the front seat belt buckle lower anchor to the side of the floor panel transmission tunnel. Tighten the
screw to 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).
3. On the driver side only, reconnect the seat belt switch pigtail wire connector to the body wire harness connector for the seat belt switch with
manual seats, or to the power seat wire harness connector for the seat belt switch with power seats.
4. On the driver side only, do not reconnect the battery negative cable at this time. The supplemental restraint system verification test procedure
should be performed following service of any supplemental restraint system component.
