SUBJECT:
Condensation (water droplets) may form on the exterior of the heater A/C housing and drip on the floor.
OVERVIEW:
This Bulletin involves installing a foam insulator to the heater A/C housing.
MODELS:
1999 - **2000** (WJ) Grand Cherokee
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Water may condense on the exterior of the heater housing when the air conditioning is operating and drip on the passenger floor.
DIAGNOSIS:
If customers complain of this condition, perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
THIS REPAIR IS COMPATIBLE WITH DAIMLERCHRYSLER'S MOBILE SERVICE PROGRAM AND DOES NOT REQUIRE HOISTS OR
OTHER FULL SERVICE FACILITY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT.

Remove the protective backing from the foam and carefully install the foam as shown in Figure 1.
