DISCUSSION:
When servicing a horn switch, it is no longer necessary to replace the air bag module. The horn switch and cover assembly is available separately.
Symptoms may include inoperative horn or constant horn blowing. The switch/cover can be replaced by removing the air bag module from the steering
column and removing the four nuts and retainers from the back of the module, then separating the cover/switch assembly from the airbag module. Refer
to the appropriate service manual for the correct procedures and safety precautions for air bag module removal and installation.
