Grand Cherokee SRT-8 V8-6.1L (2009)
1. Position the seat back foam on the seat back frame, if required.
2. Route the seat belt through the seat back cover, position the cover over the foam and install new hog rings.
3. Press firmly to lock the Velcro strips into place and zip up cover.
4. Turn the seat back face down, install the center seat belt trim bezel and mounting screws.
5. Install the child seat anchor bezel and mounting screws.
6. Install the seat back latch trim bezel and mounting screws.
7. Position seat on hinges and install the two lower pivot point bolts. Tighten to 34 N-m (25 ft. lbs.).
8. Install the seat back, refer to 1.
COVER - 40% SEAT BACK
1. Position the seat back foam on the frame, if required.
2. Position the seat back cover over the foam and install new hog rings.
3. Press firmly to lock the Velcro strips into place and zip up cover.
4. Turn the seat back face down, install the child seat anchor bezel and mounting screws.
5. Install the seat back latch trim bezel and mounting screws.
6. Install the inboard hinge and pivot point bolt. Tighten to 34 N-m (25 ft. lbs.).
7. Install the seat back, refer to 1.
SEAT BACK
1. Position the 40% seat, install the outboard hinge pivot bolt and the two inboard hinge mounting bolts. Tighten to 34 N-m (25 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the seat back assembly. See: Seat Back/Service and Repair/Seat Back - Installation.
3. Position the rear seat cushion into the vehicle, connect electrical if equipped and slide seat assembly rearward to engage the rear hooks (2).
4. Install the two mounting bolts (1). Tighten to 50 N-m (37 ft.lbs.).
