Front Door Weatherstrip: Description and Operation
DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
The door weatherstrip is made of molded latex foam with a smooth rubber skin on the outside. The weatherstrip is attached to the body opening.
Cold weather may cause the rubber weatherstrip to harden and lose resiliency. When servicing, use a dampened cloth to clean the weatherstrip.
Apply a silicone lubricant to the sealer to help preserve it. Do not use graphite, brake fluid, or wax on the weatherstrip.
