Emissions Maintenance Light: Service and Repair

1. The emission maintenance timer is located under the instrument panel to the right of the steering column.
2. Remove cruise control module attaching screws, then remove module, if equipped.
3. Remove emission maintenance timer to dash bracket attaching screws.
4. Remove timer, then disconnect electrical connector, refer to Fig. 1.
5. Connect electrical connector to replacement timer, then position timer to dash panel and install and tighten attaching screws.
