Power Window Circuit Breaker: Testing and Inspection
Circuit Breaker Test

NOTE:  Verify that the battery is fully charged before starting this test.

1.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

2.

Locate the circuit breaker (in the fuse box) and connect one lead of a test light to the VIO/Red wire terminal.  Connect the other lead of the
voltmeter to a good ground and check that there is battery voltage.

3.

If the test light illuminates, the circuit breaker is good.  If the test light does not illuminate, probe the RED wire side of the circuit breaker.

4.

If the test light illuminates, the circuit breaker is bad.  If the test light does not illuminate, there is an open in the circuit from the battery to the
circuit breaker.
