Trailer Hitch: Service and Repair
Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the trailer tow harness connector (3) from the trailer tow connector (1).
2. Remove four bolts (2) from the trailer tow connector (1).

3. If equipped, remove the tow hooks, See: Towing Hook / Bracket/Service and Repair/Hook - Rear Tow/Removal.
4. Support the trailer hitch (2) with a suitable lifting device.
5. Remove the bolts (3) from the trailer hitch (2).
6. Remove the trailer hitch (2) from the rear rail assembly (1).
