Pull the headliner away from the drive system (Fig 1).

4.

Using a scribe, mark the ends of the existing hook strip on the retainer.

5.

Remove the existing hook strip from the retainer.

NOTE:

Do not remove the loop strip from the retainer.

Clean the retainer using Super Kleen Bug, Tar And Spot remover (p/n 04886330AA) or equivalent.

7.

Wipe retainer with rubbing alcohol and let dry for 5 minutes.

8.

Apply hook strip from kit (p/n 68055943AA) to retainer in between scribe marks.

9.

Using a small roller or equivalent apply pressure along the entire hook strip removing all air bubbles.

10.

Let hook strip set for 2 hours.

11.

Insert new push pins (2) through the headliner into the retainer outboard holes.

NOTE:

Use new push pins from headliner kit p/n 68055943AA.

12.

Starting at the center of the of the roof attach the headliner to the retainer working your way outboard.

13.

Repeat process for the rear headliner.
