Engine Mount - Installation

Front Engine Mount

INSTALLATION

1. Position the insulator mount and install the insulator mount through bolt.
2. Lower the engine until the cylinder block-to-insulator mount bolts can be installed.
3. Remove the jack and block of wood.
4. Tighten the cylinder block-to-insulator mount bolts to 61 Nm ( 45 ft. lbs.).
5. Install and tighten the through bolt retaining nut to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the fan blade, fan clutch and fan shroud.

Rear Engine Mount

INSTALLATION

MANUAL TRANSMISSION:

1. Install the transmission mount (1) to the transmission. Install the bolts (2) and tighten.
2. Position the crossmember in the vehicle. Install the crossmember to mount through bolt and nut.
3. Install crossmember-to-sill bolts and tighten to 41 Nm m (30 ft. lbs.)
4. Remove the transmission support.
5. Lower the vehicle.
