a. Remove the two wiper pivot arm assembly-to-wiper motor retaining bolts (Figure 5).

b. Disconnect the plastic linkage links at the wiper pivots.

CAUTION: 

Note the location of each pivot linkage. The linkage can be installed backwards.

c. Remove any old grease on the wiper pivot ball studs.

d. Place the new wiper motor in position on wiper pivot arm assembly.

e. Install the two wiper motor retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 70 in. lbs. (8 N.m).

Snap the plastic linkage links onto the wiper pivots (Figure 6).

CAUTION: 

The linkage can be installed backwards. Reference Figure 6 and 7 to ensure linkage is installed correctly.
