Sunroof / Moonroof Cable: Service and Repair
Drive Cable - Installation

INSTALLATION

FRONT DRIVE CABLES

CABLE LOCATIONS

CAUTION: Use Mopar (R) Nyogel 729F grease #68038578AA on the drive cables whenever the drive cables are removed from the roof

assembly.

1. Apply Mopar (R) Nyogel 729F grease #68038578AA to the cables.
2. Install the front drive cables into their correct positions. 

NOTE: It may be necessary to twist the cables while pushing to fully install the cables.

3. Install the front drive assembly.   See: Sunroof / Moonroof Motor/Service and Repair/Full Open Retractable Roof/Front Drive Assembly -

4. Re-initialize Electronic Control Unit (ECU).   See: Locks/Keyless Entry/Keyless Entry Module/Testing and Inspection

REAR DRIVE CABLES

CAUTION: Use Mopar (R) Nyogel 729F grease #68038578AA on the drive cables whenever the drive cables are removed from the roof

assembly.

1. Apply Mopar (R) Nyogel 729F grease #68038578AA to the cables.
2. Install the rear drive cables into their correct positions. 

NOTE: It may be necessary to twist the cables while pushing to fully install the cables.

3. Install the rear drive assembly.   See: Sunroof / Moonroof Motor/Service and Repair/Full Open Retractable Roof/Rear Drive Assembly -

Installation

4. Re-initialize ECU.   See: Locks/Keyless Entry/Keyless Entry Module/Testing and Inspection
