Cross-Member: Service and Repair
Crossmember - Installation
Transmission
INSTALLATION
1. Install the crossmember and six bolts and tighten the bolts to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
2. Install four transmission mount nuts and tighten to 88 Nm (65 ft. lbs.).
3. Remove the transmission lifting device.
4. Install the transfer case skid plate, See: Body and Frame/Frame/Skid Plate/Service and Repair/Skid Plate - Installation.
5. Install the transmission skid plate, See: Body and Frame/Frame/Skid Plate/Service and Repair/Skid Plate - Installation.
