In stall the protective cover around the wiring harness, directly in front of the power steering hose bracket (Figure 2). The protective cover should
be positioned to allow the harness ground wires to exit through the slit in the cover (toward rear/bottom of vehicle)

In stall the tie strap around the protective cover near the center of the cover.
10.
Cut off any excess tie strap located above the tie strap lock.

Place horn bracket in its original position and install mounting bolt. Tighten the mounting bolt to 19 ft. lbs. (25 N.m).
12.
Place battery tray/PDC assembly back into position and install retaining nuts (Figure 1). Tighten the retaining nuts to 45 in. lbs. (5 N.m).
13.
Place the battery back onto the battery tray. Install the battery hold down and tighten the hold down nut to 20 in. lbs. (4 N.m).
14.
Connect the positive battery cable. Tighten the terminal clamp pinch bolt to 75 in. lbs. (8.5 N.m).
15.
Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten the terminal clamp pinch bolt to 75 in. lbs. (8.5 N.m).
16.
Close the hood.
