OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves the installation of latex hose to reinforce the bezel retention tabs.

THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO JUNE 06, 2001 (MDH 0606XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The power window switch bezel may appear to be partially engaged to the center console.
DIAGNOSIS:
If the power window switch bezel does not remain fully engaged to the center console or when a power window switch is operated, then perform the
Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
THIS REPAIR IS COMPATIBLE WITH DAIMLERCHRYSLER'S MOBILE SERVICE PROGRAM AND DOES NOT REQUIRE HOISTS OR
OTHER FULL SERVICE FACILITY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT.
1.
Remove the power window switch bezel from the center console and disconnect attaching electrical harness connector.
2.
From the .025 inch I.D. (inside diameter) latex hose, cut off two pieces of hose that are each 89 mm (3.5 inches) in length.
