Remote Switch: Service and Repair
Installation
INSTALLATION
WARNING: On vehicles equipped with airbags, refer to Restraints before attempting any steering wheel, steering column, or instrument panel
component diagnosis or service. Failure to take the proper precautions could result in accidental airbag deployment and possible personal
injury.
1. Install remote radio switch to the steering wheel.
2. Install steering wheel rear cover.
3. Connect the wire harness to the remote radio switch.
4. Install the steering wheel See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Wheel/Service and Repair/Installation.
5. Install the driver side airbag See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Driver Airbag -
Installation.
6. Connect the battery negative cable.
