Hood Latch Release Cable: Service and Repair
Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the latch cable (1) from the latch (3).
2. Separate the cable (2) from the latch (3).

3. Release the push pin fasteners (2).

4. Remove the cowl trim panel, See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Cowl Trim/Cowl Trim - Removal.
5. Remove the screws (2) and separate the handle (3) from the cowl.
6. Remove the cable from the cowl panel from the inside of the car.
