10. All except 2.4L Engine with All-Wheel-Drive - Position the pressure hose routing clamp (2) at the exhaust manifold and install the mounting bolt
(1). Tighten the bolt to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).
11. 2.4L Engine with All-Wheel-Drive - Position the pressure hose routing clamp (2) at the exhaust manifold and install the mounting bolt (1). Tighten
the bolt to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).
12. Fill and bleed the power steering system. See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Power Steering/Power Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair
13. Check for leaks.
14. Install the engine appearance cover.
Pressure Hose - Gas Engine - Right-Hand-Drive
GAS ENGINE - RIGHT-HAND-DRIVE
CAUTION: Power steering fluid hoses must remain away from the exhaust system, driveshafts, vehicle components and any unfriendly surface
that can possibly damage the hoses.
1. Using a lint free towel, wipe clean the open power steering hose end and the power steering pump port. Replace any used O-rings with new.
Lubricate the O-ring with power steering fluid.
